Thailand Section of AOAC International has been established with the focal points in technical support, coordination, information exchange and development to upgrade quality and method of analysis to global standards with the cooperation of scientists in various field who paticipate in the field of laboratory analysis including interesting individual or parties from various academic institutions, organizations, private laboratories, industrial sectors and companies dealing with imported instruments, equipment, apparatus and chemical reagents and media.

AOAC Thai directly links to the AOAC International in U.S.A. as Thailand Sector.

Main activities involve technical aspects, dissemination of current trend of analysis through medias such as newsletter, publication and digital media, exchange technical information, conferences, seminars, training, study tour, consulting service, cooperative program for development of analytical methods such as collaborative study and method of validation within local participants and overseas laboratories
